I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.

Personal:

I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

Easy run. Average pace: 10:46.

Back in Colorado with hills and high elevation. I overslept by 10 minutes this morning, which put everything behind. Nevertheless, I did the shred level 2 with 5 lb. weights before the kid drop-off and my run.

I didn't eat well in California. I've got to recommit myself to healthy eating now that I'm home.

I feel the same about eating lately. I feel like I need to blog everything I eat too.

My problem is that I go "Well, I ran today, so I deserve this treat." And then I go ahead and eat much more than I deserve.

It's so hard because I love sweets. And for some reason for the past two weeks I've been surrounding myself with them, which I don't normally do.
