Easy run + level 1 shred.

My plan this morning was to run 3 miles to where Michelle starts her run and time it so that I got there a little after she did and then catch up with her and run with her for a while. But I got out the door a few minutes later than I had intended, and so I couldn't see her when I got to that point. I kept running at an easy pace until I went around a corner and then I could see someone that I thought was her quite a ways ahead. So I picked up the pace quite a bit until I caught up with her. Then I ran with her for a little over a mile and then we parted ways and I headed home. It was nice to visit with Michelle. I haven't done that in a long time.

I figure that my fast portion qualified as fast miles, but I'm not sure because my Garmin died about 3 minutes into my run. I must have left it on accidentally yesterday or something. I estimated my total distance and the distance that I ran fast using mapmyrun.com. I know roughly how long (in terms of time) I ran, but not precisely. But based on my rough estimates of time and distance, I think my average pace was about 9:35.

Garmin failure is so frustrating. Glad you caught up with Michelle.

glad you were able to spend some time chatting with Michelle

I got to chat with a friend named Michelle while I ran today too. She was on a bike, but it was nice to have company.

I see you're in the sub 6 club today. That's not easy in the summer-time.

Now, that is a GREAT running idea!
