Easy run.

5:02 am, 74° F, 40% humidity, wind 7-14 NW.

I didn't manage to run this morning because I needed to help my daughter practice the piano before school and I don't have time to do that if I run. So I decided to make the trade complete and I ran during her piano lesson this evening. I ran for 30 minutes and 32 seconds, so it just worked out with her half-hour lesson. I ran from Michelle's house because Michelle is her piano teacher.

I've got to learn to love running again. I've lost that lovin' feeling.

It is only b/c you have so much going on. I know the feeling. I think i found the love again thank goodness. With out running I thought I was going insane.

Running has always been a love/hate relationship for me. We're currently getting along.

From Bonnie on Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 20:40:27 from 128.196.228.134

I have always love it ... even in the horrid heat and when I was running badly. Because of that love (addiction?) I am now rudderless and a very unhappy camper. The only thing makes me not feel sorry for myself is thinking about Kory and Dean, both of whom have been, or will be, recovering for much longer than I ... so I know I don't have it so bad.

I do think when you get tired of something, you either need to find inspiration by a goal (e.g., a race) or do something else that can jumpstart you (e.g., intersperse running with something else, like cycling, weights - P90X or whatever burt is doing - or aerobics). Kickboxing is fun, and when I used to do it regularly I was actually in much better 'overall' shape than I have been running.

Good luck finding your joyful place.

JD--Ditto

Bonnie--you have great ideas and I find that finding something to do to spice up the running life really works!

Since you are not quite married April, I am assuming you mean something physical including only yourself ;-).
