Easy run.

7:23 am, 48° F, 59% humidity, winds calm.

I ran with Michelle this morning. Yes, Michelle is running but is not blogging. I ran to her house, then ran about 4 miles with her and then ran home. Her house is about a mile and a half away, and so that's how I got seven.

It's homecoming at the local high school and they were having a parade this morning. We ran on the parade route, but it was before the parade started. However, they were staging the parade on the street leaving into Michelle's neighborhood. There were a few people there when we left the neighborhood at the start of the run, but the street was quite crowded when we returned because the parade was about ready to start. I was glad I had run to her house and had not driven, because I would have had a tough time driving out of her neighborhood.

AP: 10:01. Splits: 9:28, 9:39, 9:34, 9:57, 10:38, 11:07 (walked a bit in this mile), 9:41, 0.1 @ 9:50.

Wrist, wrist, wave, wave, wave. Congrats on getting out this morning. Sure love this fall weather.

Glad you had a friend to run with. It's fun to run along a parade route even if it's before a parade (probably more embarrassing to run along the route during the parade!)

Glad you're feeling better! And that Michelle's back to running! Good miles today!

I always think it's kind of fun to run at the site of an event like that, hours before it takes place. It's a feeling of freedom, going somewhere you might not be allowed to go in your car.

Surprised that your temps are that low.

I'm glad Michelle is back and feeling good! Love running on the parade route, hopefully you got some good cheers. Glad you are feeling better as well.

Strategic parking with an eye to getting out ahead of the crowd, or avoiding the crowd altogether is a specialty of mine. Great minds think alike. :-)
