Easy run*.

9:01 am, 48° F, 70% humidity, winds calm.

*This should have been an easy run based on the pace. However, it didn't really feel easy. I ran the 6-mile route that I used to run all the time, but this is the first time I've run the whole thing in quite a while. I think they put more hills in there since then. It was a lot harder for me than it used to be. Perhaps I shouldn't have made the only two days out of the whole week that I ran consecutively my longest runs of the week.

At least I managed to run 4 times this week. Now if I can just managed to do it for the next couple of weeks, then maybe I'll move up to 5 days/week.

AP: 9:34. Splits: 10:09, 9:32, 9:28, 9:25, 9:36, 9:14.

You met your goal this week, don't stress about anything else! You're doing great Carolyn. I'm glad you're feeling better and hopefully work has slowed a bit as well.

Don't beat yourself up! You're coming back from being sick and stressed and those things take a huge toll on motivation! A little bit at a time. You'll get on track faster if you don't give into frustration!

You'll do great this week!

It will come back much faster than when you first started CinC. You will be back to your "old" self in no time. Enjoy the journey. Hope work is going ok.

Runs always feel harder when I'm building up (increasing) mileage (or days per week running) too.

You're doing great! I have had some of those "where did that hill come from?" runs.

There must be little elves that put hills in the roads when we take days off of running.
