Easy run + level 3 shred.

6:50 am, 30°F, 66% humidity, winds calm, cloudy.

I flirted with the snooze alarm for over an hour this morning. My kids don't have school today and it turns out that my need to go to work, when you take away the need to get kids to school, is insufficient impetus to get me out of bed in the morning. I finally got up when my husband called me when he got to work at 6:20, as is his habit.

My knee felt fine until the last mile and then it just felt a little fatigued. I plan to run tomorrow, but just a normal length run, not a long run. Then Sunday is off, and I'll take a relatively easy week next week before starting formal marathon training the week after that.

Fatigued is better than pain, so that's good. Best of luck tomorrow.

I'm so glad you are on the mend. Injuries are such a pain - physically and mentally. Good luck tomorrow!

I've missed so much! I'm sorry about your knee/calf - I also chuckled a bit on your 'scratched my eyes out' comment :) Good luck tomorrow and I'm glad you were at least able to run today - good improvement!!

I'm happy you got to sleep in a little and your knee is cooperating with you.

Enjoy your resting. I'm curious to see how your formal training is when your daily workout is already so tough.

I am glad you got to run today! And sleep in, that starts a great morning. How is your knee feeling now?

I think this is kinda cool (call me a dork if you will) but I think we start our 'official' marathon training during the same week. Our schedules will look a lot different...this will be my first so I'm sure I will struggle, a lot!
