GA run that turned into an unintentional progression/tempo run,

6:17 am, 61° F, 88% humidity, wind 6 N, overcast.

I had a big argument with myself this morning about whether to go for a run. I told my husband that I was going to skip the run and just go to work, but then I decided that I should take advantage of the cooler temps and clouds. I didn't really take the humidity into account. I got good and sweaty.

My splits are somewhat deceiving since the first half of the run was generally uphill and the second half was generally downhill, but I was really pushing it by the end.

AP: 8:43. Splits: 9:40, 9:00, 8:53, 8:17, 8:13, 8:10.

Nice job getting out the door. This is a hot summer and morning runs seem to be the way to go.

Nice splits! I always am arguing with myself about running. Way to go for it! :)

You won the argument with your other self! Nice tempo effort too! Those are the toughest.

Nice work and good job pushing yourself to get out the door! I need to re-learn how to do that.

It was that argument with yourself, it got the blood flowing and the legs moving! I am sure you were happy you went out, we always are----sweat and all!

Way to get out there and run. It would have been a shame to let such nice cool weather go to waste. And you got in some speedy splits too!

Nice miles and pace! In the heat of the summer, it's easy to argue with yourself about running or not - glad the runner in you won!!
