Medium-long run.

I ran the Highline Canal Trail today with Michelle, Michelle, and Carly. There are still some snowy spots, but the trail wasn't too bad. Carly was running 7 miles today, so we did that with her and then Michelle, Michelle, and I did 5 more. Carly got a side stitch and so we slowed down and stopped some during the 6th and 7th miles for her. Michelle likes to do a fast finish, and so we sped up when we had about .4 miles to go. I should have hit the lap button so that I would have an average pace for the fast portion, but I didn't. However, I think we averaged right around 7:00 pace. I thought maybe we sped up a bit after Carly stopped, but we really didn't until we got to that last fast bit.

My knee was bugging me just slightly yesterday and this morning, but it felt okay during the run.

I am glad your knee isn't hurting too much after the run. Hopefully it stays that way throughout the day. I thought we sped up after Carly as well, maybe we just felt more tired.

KNEES!!!!!!! That makes for the 6th blog in a row. Crud, I think it is contagious. I am going to stop reading blogs now!

Great running week, enjoy the rest of your weekend off and a nice and quiet Sunday off!

Glad you're feeling some relief at least during the runs in that knee.

Nice pace and way to pick it up at the end and kick it into high gear!!

Great that your knee let you get a good run in, and even better that you had nice people to share your run with.

Enjoy the rest of your week-end.

It's always SO fun to run with friends! When you start your official training? Hopefully your knee will behave by then! Have a good one!
