Easy/moderate run. Average pace: 8:54.

Weather: 46°F, 100% humidity, wind 14N, steady rain.

This run is dedicated to Snoqualmie. The rain would not have deterred her. I got up at about 5:45 and it was raining and blowing pretty hard. I did No More Trouble Zones because I want to do it 2 or 3 times per week and I thought maybe the weather might improve a little bit while I was doing it. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. It was still rainy and windy when I got out for my run. I got soaked to the skin very quickly. I am very cold and wet right now. I've got to go take a hot shower and get warmed up.

Don't you love trying to type a workout report with numb fingers? nice commitment today.

You are so sweet. Sorry you got soaked! Did you know cocoa is a great antioxidant? Dr. Sno recommends you have some now. Or after the hot shower. I can't even remember where I put my rain shell. Sprinkler repair man coming today and boy do we need it.

Great job getting out in it today. It rained most of the night here, fortunately it had stopped by the time I got out.

Sno - does your sprinkler repair man work on a volunteer basis by any chance? Send him my way if he does.

Yes, jun, my fingers were numb when I was typing the workout report.

Sno, I had some chocolate milk. Is that good enough? Or should I have some hot cocoa? Also, I need a sprinkler repair man too. But I haven't been worrying about it the last few days with all the rain we've been getting. I just turned my sprinklers off for now.

From JD on Tue, Jun 02, 2009 at 12:12:15 from 32.176.110.184

Yeah, I've only run the sprinklers 4 days so far this year. Every year I keep hoping the rainstorms will come every three days, all summer long, so I don't ever have to use/repair the sprinkler system. But the weather seems to have a plan of its own.

Way to get out and go even when conditions are not the best!! Nice miles too!

From snoqualmie on Tue, Jun 02, 2009 at 13:09:00 from 67.171.56.164

Last year we didn't need sprinklers until late July.

Chocolate milk rocks, but I still like the hard core cocoa best. 2-3 t cocoa powder w/ hot water, mix in. Add some xylitol and some cream. Yum.

YEAH for getting out in the rain!! What on earth does 100% humidity feel like?

From Carolyn in Colorado on Tue, Jun 02, 2009 at 15:48:25 from 198.241.217.15

100% humidity feels like taking a shower.

Wow! nice job keeping up your workout - someday I hope to acquire your kind of dedication and not pull the covers up over my head on days like that :)

From Tracy17 on Tue, Jun 02, 2009 at 18:10:54 from 173.24.32.153

You're a beast! Good workout! Hopefully you don't have to run in the rain tomorrow morning.
