Easy run.

5:11 am, 24°F, 89% humidity, winds calm, full moon.

It was a little foggy at the beginning of my run but then the fog lifted.

Right after I started my run I tried to turn on the backlight on my Garmin. In so doing, I apparently hit the Stop button with my fat-gloved hand. The next time I looked at my watch I was at about the 2 mile mark, but my watch said 85 feet. So once again, I don't have good stats today. I ran the same distance that I ran yesterday, but I think I was a minute or two slower today.

I've been having trouble getting out of bed on time this week. Undoubtedly it's because I've also been having trouble getting to bed at a decent hour. I've really got to do better next week, particularly since I have longer runs scheduled.

I have about 5000 things I need to do today in addition to my regular full-time job.

Looks like you're on the mend and ready to get that mileage back up again. That's awesome! Maybe when you're back in the swing of things next week it won't feel so tough to get out of bed...

Good luck on getting those 5000 things done. Isn't that always how life seems?

Good luck with all your activities.

The moon was great this morning wasn't it?

You didn't mention any knee pain, so I'm hoping that means it's improved.

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Jan 29, 2010 at 10:04:11 from 24.8.167.243

I felt a little twinge in the knee a couple of times during the run, but mostly it was fine. It never was bad enough for me to alter my gait.

Good luck with your busy day, I hope you can get all the things on your list done. 5 hours of sleep two nights in a row is tough.

Nice run Carolyn. You've treated your knee well, hopefully it will continue to behave.
