Easy run.

6:09 am, 59° F, 45% humidity, wind 4 SSE.

I started having a scratchy throat yesterday afternoon and felt lousy all last evening. I still feel lousy this morning. But it's Friday, so I had to go run with Lindsay. I think it's allergies, not a cold. But by the end of my run, my head was all full of snot.

I need to get out the door by 6:05 (6:04 is even better) when I'm going to meet Lindsay. But I was late today. So I ran my first mile faster than I usually run a first mile, but it wasn't enough. I was still a few minutes late. But she was still waiting for me. It helps that she can wait in her house.

My kids are off school today so my morning isn't quite as rushed as usual. I still had to make my husband's lunch when I finished my run. At least I washed my hands this time before I made his sandwich. (His sandwich might have been a little salty yesterday.)

AP: 9:52. Splits: 9:04, 9:34, 10:22, 10:13, 10:11, 9:50.

Can I just tell you how much I love coming into work and the first thing I do is check this site only to see your name on the recent posts list. I've missed it. Glad you're back.

There was a time when I would actually try and see if I could get my own name on there before you. It was good motivation for me. Then summer came and running in the daylight in the mountains took priority. Maybe it will come back this winter.

Thank you for your kind words, jun. I will try to be here more consistently.

Someone needs to inform my wife that making lunch for one's husband is a good thing. :-)

Nice run. Great running weather this time of year.

You're nice to make him lunch - Craig starves, or takes a hot pocket! Maybe if I started making him 'post run salty sandwiches' he might like it :) He's a salt fiend.

Nice job on the run and getting out. I too always miss seeing you on here.

Oh, I hope it is allergies!!! You take care. Glad to hear the morning was a little less rushed for you, you are one of the busiest blogging/running mommies I know. You are incredible, the way you get it all done.

From Carolyn in Colorado on Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 20:00:22 from 24.8.167.243

I'm sick again. This time worse than last time. I've been sick for a week now. I finally went to the doctor today and got some medicine.

From Tracy on Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 20:01:47 from 173.23.75.96

Hope the medicine helps! We've missed you!
