Easy run. Average pace: 10:14.

Outside temp: 26°F

This was just a short run early in the morning. I was done before the sun came up. I had to run early this morning because my husband got in a car accident last night. It was his fault. He's a little sore, but okay. I can't say as much for the car he was driving. So we had to go to the rental car place early this morning and get a car. I wanted to get my run done before we did that. We're waiting to find out how much his ticket is going to cost us and whether our car is totaled. The front part of the front end is pretty smashed and the car is 6.5 years old and has over 100,000 miles on it.

I ate cookies and ice cream last night because I was upset. I knew it was emotional eating, but I did it anyway.

Great job on the run, sorry to hear about the accident. I'm glad your husband is ok.

Way to be consistent in your training. Glad your husband is ok, cars can be replaced, people can't.

I thought of you yesterday when I got to Champaign Surplus. When I was at the checkout counter I saw an advertisement for a mountain adventure in Telluride. I thought, "wait, I know that word from somewhere, then I remembered your funny story about the captions while you were on the treadmill :).

I'm impressed with your push up program, your really strong!

So sorry to hear about the accident! I'm glad it was not more serious. Good for you, getting the run in. I wish I could run again -- well, soon, soon...

Hey Snoqualmie! Good to see you online! How are you feeling?

From Solemate on Thu, Dec 11, 2008 at 14:26:25

I would have eaten more than cookies and ice cream.... I am glad your husband is okay; but what a bummer. Good for you for getting out. It was 30F when I ran this morning, but warmed up really quickly!!

Oh my, I read the report so early in the morning I was not even thinking (still half asleep I guess)! Sorry about the accident, and i am glad he is okay!!!

No worries, Kelli!

I feel pretty good. Thanks. We took the train (22 hours) and got home very late, so no recovery workouts yet. But I may go out tomorrow. They're predicting some snow and cold temps (20's) for us this weekend -- I'll be thinking of how YOU have to deal with it all winter. :)
