Easy run + level 1 Shred.

6:03 am, 60° F, 91% humidity, winds calm.

It was 10 degrees cooler this morning than yesterday morning, but much more humid. Maybe it's on account of the big, but short rainstorm we had last evening.

I saw Michelle and Michelle twice during my run.

I listened to the Aida soundtrack during my run. I didn't quite make it through the whole thing.

Nothing much else to report today.

I'm hoping it stays cool all day and into the evening since I'm running a 5K in Lousiville tonight.

Wunderground said that today is supposed to be cooler than yesterday. Good luck on your race, Nan.

Verdi or Elton John? :)

From JD on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 10:38:27 from 209.183.51.43

Aida. Good stuff.

I'm not familliar with Aida. It must be good to run to!

Your 60 degree temps sound dreamy. But that humidity isn't very nice.

Good workout today :-)

Elton John.

Never heard of it, I have no culture.

So, you got a big storm last night, too? At a little before 10:00 we had the loudest and longest rumbling thunder I have ever experienced, it shook our house and sent the youngest 4 kids running to our room. Then it poured---which is good for the grass so I was happy!

From RAD on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 12:08:12 from 67.172.229.125

Sounds like a nice run. I only know Aida from the songs that were popularized in the 90's - Madonna I think?

The cooler temps certainly are better, but I don't think we were down to 60. Not that with that humidity it felt like 60 for you.

Nice work on getting the run done and the shred as well. However, since it was 6.1 can it still be classified as 'easy'? :)

From Carolyn in Colorado on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 14:50:26 from 198.241.174.15

I don't know about Madonna. The only song from Aida that I've ever heard on the radio is Elton John and LeAnn Rimes singing "Written in the Stars."

.1 isn't enough to classify it as not easy. Although some of the uphill parts didn't feel particularly easy.

I was assuming Verdi. Glad it was a little cooler for you!

From Snoqualmie on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 18:47:09 from 24.18.192.33

I thought of Verdi first too. But then I decided it was not possible for running music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGrbaxJRGXo

Hooray for cooler weather! Soon enough, summer will be leaving us!

From calliej on Fri, Jul 30, 2010 at 00:46:12 from 97.126.140.212

Love cooler weather, especially if you get to run in it.

We are still really hot here in good old UT. Can't wait for it to cool down.
