Tempo run, flat at sea level.

I did one mile slow, then pushed the pace for 4 miles, and then one mile slow. I got out a little earlier than yesterday and I ran faster, so I had time to do 6 miles instead of 5. Also, a greater porportion of the run was in the dark, so I was glad for the headlamp and reflective vest. I also went more on the bay trail today. It's back to running hills at high altitude tomorrow. It's amazing how much easier it is to run on flat ground at sea level. I probably could have run even faster if I hadn't eaten the junk they provided to me yesterday.

Sweet run!! Your splits are awesome! Are you sure you want to run slow with me during the race?!?! You're improving so much faster than me. I still can't even run 10 miles without hurting somewhere by the end. :oS

Yes, Laura, I'm sure I want to run slow with you during the race. I can't run as fast in Colorado as I did in California, and especially not for 10 miles. The thought of trying to push the pace for 10 miles is disturbing to me right now. I'm in the mood for slow.

Hey those are really good splits, even with the elevation drop. Nice job!
