Easy run.

I had a project at work that I needed to have finished by Tuesday (tomorrow) morning, so I worked 11 straight hours on Saturday to finish it so that I wouldn't have to work today. Because of that, I didn't run on Saturday. But I did run this morning. I was able to go an hour later than usual on account of the holiday. I met up with Lindsay and we ran 4 miles together, and then I did the rest by myself. Unfortunately, my Garmin died mid-run, so I don't have stats other than an estimated total time and an estimated total distance, thus an estimated average pace, which I figure to be 9:17.

We took all our kids up to Greeley today to see older brother's dorm room and campus. It was a nice trip. Now we're home and tired. We took a long walk around campus and my left knee was really hurting by the end, so I'll have to see whether I feel like running on it (or running at all) tomorrow.

Glad you got in a run today--and a much needed day off (sorta, anyway). Will things be calming down at work?

I'm glad you got a good holiday run in! AND that you got the day off work, even though it required a SAturday work day.

Sounds like Son is doing well at college, take care of that knee!

Sorry about the knee; I hope it feels well tomorrow. Were your younger kids inspired by their trip to college? My daughter visited my son at college last spring and I think it was a good motivator for her.

It's great you had time to run and visit your oldest in his new "place." Hope that knee gets straightened out asap!
