Easy run.

I've decided that I have to arrange to meet someone for a run on Saturday mornings because otherwise I will sleep in until it's so hot that I can't bring myself to go for a run. So I arranged to meet Michelle #2 at the Highline Canal Trail at 7:00 this morning. She was thinking of 4-6 miles and I was thinking of 6-8, so we compromised and ran 6. I don't know her as well as I know some of the other people I run with, but it was nice to visit with her. She wants to start meeting at the trail regularly on Saturday mornings again, so I guess I'll do that. Maybe I can recruit some other people to come too.

There was a huge crowd of Team in Training people there today. (So now look for an add for Team in Training on this page since I've mentioned them.) I noticed that most of them were women. We joked about eating their unattended Power Bars when we got back to the start, but didn't do it.

Once again, I'm done with my run early on a Saturday morning. I guess that's what happens when I only run 6 miles.

Maybe I'll try to increase my mileage just a little bit next week. We'll see how things go at work. I'm still working long hours.

AP: 9:35. Splits: 9:34, 9:24, 9:29, 9:31, 9:41, 9:50.

Nice pace for your run this morning. I'm glad you had someone to run with - it has to help pass the time, especially in this warmer weather.

I wish you lived here and could attend my club. Then again, I couldn't keep up with you if you did. No runners for me again this morning, but a great audiobook. You'll appreciate this with your background: Count of Monte Cristo read by John Lee. I know the book well, but coming back to it has been a lot of fun.

How's the hip doing?

You are doing much better than I am at continuing to run...

Sno: that is my fave fiction book so far! I just finished reading it about a month ago for the second time.

I'm still having occasional minor pain in my left hip, occasional minor pain just below and outside my left knee, and pain in my right arch and heel, though it does not act like PF.

SRR - It is a wonderful book. Beautifully written, and full of great virtues and satisfying outcomes.

Is. The hip better carolyn? It is nice to have someone to run with; I am missing out on all the group runs lately. If you were here I would run in the mornings!
