Easy run + level 1 shred.

I ran with Lindsay again this morning. I ran 2 miles before I met up with her and then did about 3.8 with her and then the rest on my own. We saw Michelle and Michelle twice since we were doing essentially the same route as them in reverse. My girls are running a little more again. Maybe we'll be able to get the Saturday morning group going.

Another busy week at work, even though my boss is on vacation. What else is new?

GA run that turned into an unintentional progression/tempo run,

6:17 am, 61° F, 88% humidity, wind 6 N, overcast.

I had a big argument with myself this morning about whether to go for a run. I told my husband that I was going to skip the run and just go to work, but then I decided that I should take advantage of the cooler temps and clouds. I didn't really take the humidity into account. I got good and sweaty.

My splits are somewhat deceiving since the first half of the run was generally uphill and the second half was generally downhill, but I was really pushing it by the end.

Easy run + level 1 Shred.

6:32 am, 68° F, 65% humidity, wind 14 SSE.

I had that same argument about whether to run again this morning. Bolstering the argument against was the fact that I stayed in bed too long and so I was short on time. But I finally decided that three miles was better than nothing, so I headed out. Also too, I haven't run 6 days in a week since the end of May and I kind of thought I would try to do it this week. If I skipped today's run, I would have blown it again.

I saw Michelle out chugging along baby and all. She is being very consistent and doing a great job.

GA run.

6:37 am, 68° F, 74% humidity, wind 5 SSW.

I overslept again, but went out and did the full County Line Road route anyway. Now I've got to hurry and get ready for work.

Wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles. I actually got out the door before 6 am. I'm still in a hurry this morning though.

GA run.

7:20 am, 64-68° F, 48% humidity, winds calm.

I finally ran an almost respectable Saturday distance. If it had been one more mile I could have called it medium-long. And I finally ran 6 days in a week for the first time since the end of May. Maybe I'm starting to come back.

I ran 6 miles with Michelle #2 on the Highline Canal Trail and then did 4 more by myself. I had a little break in between to get my fuel belt and my mp3 player out of my car. It was almost a progression run, even the part with Michelle. I passed a lot of people in the last couple of miles.
